The following list details the requirements teams must meet to qualify for each tournament:
2007 USSSA COLORADO STATE TOURNAMENT:
For Mens
D & E:
- Teams qualifying in a tournament are required to play a minimum of five USSSA sanctioned events to attend the state tournament, and...
- Finish top
25% in any USSSA tournament with 12 teams entered or greater, or win any USSSA
tournament with less than 12 teams, or
- Finish TOP
20 in USSSA
points for the year (click on Rankings
on left to see if your team is in the top 20), or
- Play in any
spring or summer USSSA
sanctioned league
For Mens
C:
- Finish top
25% in any USSSA tournament, or
- Play a minimum
of 5 USSSA tournaments, or
- Play in any
spring or summer USSSA
sanctioned league
- Only registered C teams and invited D teams will be permitted entry into the C State Tournament
Womens
Mixed
2007 USSSA WORLD TOURNAMENTS:
1. Win an NIT - your berth is paid and you receive travel money. Berths can be passed down
2. PLACE 1st or 2nd IN A NATIONAL. - The winner will receive a paid berth and travel money. The runner up will receive a paid berth and no travel money. Paid berths can be passed down, travel money stays with the winner of the event.
3. Total 1000 points by Sept 9th - you receive an unpaid berth and NO travel money
- you must have played in an NIT and the State tournament
4. Win the State Tournament - your berth will be paid by RMUSSSA and you will receive NO travel money. The berth can be passed down. Berth will only be paid for a top 5 finish.
- you must have played an NIT
- you must have played in class in a national
- you must have played a minimum of 6 USSSA tournaments
- you must have a minimum of 200 points by August 27
5. 2007 Mens E World West Only
- play a minimum of 10 in state USSSA events
- must play in at least one NIT
- must play in the State Tournament
- must attend the National Tournament
Teams meeting these requirements and not qualifying with a paid berth will receive an unpaid berth to the 2007 Mens E World West in Aurora, Colorado.
Berthed teams may still be subject to reclassification and will forfeit all berths in that case.
- A pass-down berth occurs if the
winning teams in a NIT have already received a World Berth, the
next highest place team will get the World Berth. For example, if
the the first and second place teams at the NIT have already qualified
for Worlds, the third place team ,assuming the 3rd place team has
not already qualified, will get the World Berth.
